Residential cooling and heat load calculations (also known as Manual J), help determine the correct size of the air conditioning unit for your home. These calculations are completed using information gathered from the  building materials in your home and incorporating them into advanced software. The calculations will provide accurate data with regard to airflow and required CFM for spaces.

It is a requirement in the state of Florida to run these calculations to ensure that your air conditioning system is properly sized. HVAC load calculations will be needed if you are building a new home or planning to add on to your existing home.
